Max is a pianist specialising in solo jazz performance. As a solo artist he performs exclusively on the acoustic piano and brings a mixture of colourful harmony and virtuoso decoration to his improvisation. He splits his time between jazz, working as a repetiteur for the south London choir "London Sings!", teaching piano, and his other two professions, landscape photography and calligraphy.
